About the work+
This complete portfolio set features six spectacular screenprints created by the artist collective FAILE in conjunction with their landmark "Savage Sacred Young Minds" exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum in 2015. The portfolio represents a significant moment in FAILE's career and offers collectors a comprehensive overview of their distinctive visual language.

Each of the six screenprints contains approximately 24 colors, demonstrating FAILE's technical mastery and commitment to vibrant, detailed printmaking. Rather than being reproductions of existing works, these prints are unique compositions that incorporate elements ("droppings") from the original exhibition canvases, making them standalone artworks of considerable importance.

What makes this portfolio particularly special is its exclusivity—while five of the prints were released individually in editions of 300, the complete set of six (including one print available only in the portfolio) was limited to just 100 sets. Each print is hand-signed by the artists along the lower edge, with numbering and dating on the verso.

FAILE, formed in 1999, has become one of the most influential contemporary art collectives, known for their exploration of duality, consumer culture, and religious iconography through a visual style that blends street art, pop culture, and fine art traditions. Their work has been exhibited in major institutions worldwide.

This portfolio remains in excellent condition, has never been framed, and comes complete with its original custom linen box and documentation. It has been maintained by the original owner since purchase, ensuring pristine provenance and condition.
