About

A riot cop with angel wings and a smiley face where his head should be. The figure debuted at Turf War, the warehouse show Banksy staged in east London in the summer of 2003, and a line of them was later painted along Shoreditch Bridge. One panel from that installation was cut out and stolen, which became the plot of the 2012 documentary How to Sell a Banksy. This is the largest sheet in the early POW catalogue; framing costs and condition issues scale with it.
