Biography

Roy Lichtenstein turned the Ben-Day dot into fine art and never quite let go of it. His screen prints and lithographs — produced steadily from the sixties through the nineties — are among the most widely collected editions in postwar American art. The prints often rework themes from the paintings and hold their own as independent compositions.
